Do you drive through dangerous intersections? Does the public transit system meet your needs? Would better signals or wider shoulders improve safety? Would your commuting time be better spent with family, friends or hobbies?
ReConnectPA believes that highways, public transit, air and seaports, freight and passenger railways and bike and pedestrian paths constitute a single, integrated transportation system. Our members and partners support a comprehensive solution to Pennsylvania’s transportation funding dilemma to improve the quality of life in urban, suburban and rural Pennsylvania.
But you understand best how to make transportation safer, more convenient and less frustrating in your own community. We’re looking for solutions that will make a significant difference. These might include small projects such as additional traffic signals or wider shoulders to accommodate bicycles, to major improvements such as more lanes on highways, better freight and passenger terminals or expanded public transit routes and services. Your voice will be heard! HIDE EXPANDED TEXT
We hate potholes as much as you do, but rather than post pothole problems here, please contact PennDOT to report potholes on state roads or your local government for those on local roads. The PennDOT pothole hotline is 1-800-FIX-ROAD (1-800-349-7623).
